Presentation of the seminar

The first international seminar on diversity, valorization & conservation of phytodiversity, organized by the Faculty of Nature and Life Sciences in collaboration with the laboratory of Natural Bioresources, the laboratory of Crop Production and Protection in Chlef Region and the Forest Conservation of Chlef aims to identify and update the data concerning the Algerian flora, in order to establish a monitoring system and improve the technics for a better conservation of threatened species in the face of climate change, in addition to the valorization of natural substances serving the development of national industry, particularly, the pharmaceutical industry.

The participation of researchers and practitioners from different horizons of phytodiversity will make it possible to address the main challenges related to this field for a better valorization and conservation of this natural wealth.

This scientific event will represent an interface for the exchange of experiences and scientific information between researchers from different national and international institutions in order to develop and promote the results of research concerning phytodiversity and establish collaborations between researchers, universities, laboratories, research centers and socio-economic partners in order to promote this discipline in addition to guiding and supporting the work of PhD students.

Call for Abstracts

All abstracts must be submitted via the Google Form and will undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Abstracts must be submitted online by April 20th, 2025. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by May 1st, 2025. Each abstract accepted for presentation and included in the proceedings must be accompanied with full registration fee must register by May 10th, 2025.
